In "Transportation of Small Packages Under 49 CFR", the basic requirements of the Hazardous Materials Regulations of 49 CFR are covered, along with specific procedures for shipping goods as:

Safe and Secure Transportation of Hazardous Materials in the US – Only 10 minutes!

Under 49 CFR, Part 172.704, security awareness training is a mandatory requirement for all hazmat employees. Hazmat employers must ensure that their hazmat employees are trained with 90 days of their hire date, and again every three years.49 CFR 172.704(e) states: "Each hazmat employee must receive training that provides an awareness of security risks associated with hazardous materials transportation and methods to enhance transportation security."ICC The Compliance Center has developed a short, yet informative session that will meet this requirement. Our program includes a quiz, which will confirm understanding and provide evidence of training.
